MVPD's Dispatchers answer emergency calls throughout Mountain View. With a goal to provide effective, efficient, and courteous emergency communications, dispatchers coordinate responses, relay critical information, and prioritize calls based on urgency.

Our dispatch team answers calls for police, fire, and Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, as well as dispatches emergency response units and monitors personnel in the field.

MVPD's Dispatch Center processes over 132,000 inbound and outbound calls a year, rapidly determining the nature of each call, the degree, and severity, all while providing excellent

customer service.

The salary range for Public Safety Dispatcher I/II is $102,678.94 - $139,165.00 Annually
